Power banks designed for mobile electronic devices like phones generally use lithium-ion or lithium-polymer batteries. These high-density batteries are not suitable for long-term use in parked enclosed vehicles and may pose safety risks under extremely high temperatures.
The 70mai dash cam battery pack is powered by lithium iron phosphate batteries, which are safer under extreme high temperatures compared to lithium-ion or lithium-polymer batteries and have a longer cycle life.
It is recommended to use Wh to evaluate the battery capacity.
The milliamp-hour rating of a power bank is usually based on a voltage of 3.7V, and the rated capacity of a 10000mAh power bank is: 10000mAh x 3.7V / 1000 = 37Wh.
The milliampere-hour rating of the 70mai dash cam battery is based on 12.8V, and the rated capacity of the 7500mAh dash cam battery is: 7500mAh x 12.8V = 96Wh.
Therefore, the capacity of 7500mAh dash cam battery is much larger than that of 10000mAh power bank.
