70mai 4G Hardwire Kit UP04
Parking surveillance, time-lapse photography and motion detection are the corresponding working modes of this model of Dash Cam for different parking security scenarios. The Dash Cam supports the following functions alone or all enabled after detecting the vehicle flameout, to guard your vehicle in all aspects:
1. Collision detection: The Dash Cam will be in standby mode without recording after flameout, but when the built-in gravity sensor (G-sensor) detects abnormal vibration of the vehicle (usually the vehicle is collided), it triggers the recording of a 30-second-long parking surveillance video, and stores it in the parking surveillance video folder of the device album.
2. Motion detection: The Dash Cam will be in standby mode without recording when flameout. When the image algorithm running continuously on the Dash Cam detects a threatening scene to the vehicle and determines that the threat level has reached the level that needs to be recorded, it will trigger the recording of a 30-second-long parking surveillance video and store it in the parking surveillance video folder of the device album.
3. Time-lapse photography: When this function is turned on, the Dash Cam continuously shoots frames at a sampling rate of one frame per second (when the video recording frame rate is set to 30 fps) or one frame every 500 milliseconds (when the video recording frame rate is set to 60 fps) when the after flameout, and then combines them into a 30 fps or 60 fps video file, i.e. time-lapse photography video, and stores it in the time-lapse photography video folder of the device album. Time-lapse photography can continuously record the situation in the field of view of the Dash Cam, and playback the video at a speed equivalent to thirty times the real-world time flow, in case there is an abnormal event, it can well record the entire cause and effect as proof of evidence.
Note: If you installed the optional 4G parking surveillance cable for the Dash Cam, then the parking surveillance events triggered by collision detection or motion detection will be instantly sent to your phone via alarm message push to remind you to pay attention to the abnormal situation of your vehicle in time.
This is because the Dash Cam does not detect the parking surveillance cable. In this case, please start troubleshooting with the following:
1. Check whether the parking surveillance cable of the Dash Cam is correctly installed? If you do not have installation experience and firsthand ability, it is recommended to ask a professional to install it at an auto repair and maintenance store;for minority car models, it is recommended to contact 4S store first to get the vehicle fuse box circuit definition information for installation reference.
2. Check whether the parking surveillance cable has poor contact with the fuse box or with the Dash Cam.
The parking surveillance cable is an accessory used by the car Dash Cam in the parking security scenario and plays the following role:
- The cable takes electricity from the vehicle's battery to maintain a constant power supply to the Dash Cam when the vehicle is shut down, supporting the normal operation of parking surveillance, remote surveillance and other functions;
- When the vehicle battery voltage drops to a preset threshold, the power supply to the Dash Cam/4G module will be cut off to prevent low battery power, leading to the failure to start the vehicle.
This model of Dash Cam only supports parking surveillance cable of 70mai brand. You can choose the following models of 70mai parking surveillance cable to use with this model of Dash Cam:
1. 70mai 4G parking surveillance cable. In addition to supporting the parking surveillance function of the Dash Cam, it also enables the Dash Cam to obtain 4G network connection capability, thus enabling 4G network connection related functions, including instant push alarm message notification and video clips to your mobile APP when the Dash Cam triggers recorded parking surveillance video. As a parking surveillance cable accessory, this model supports three voltage protection threshold settings for low battery protection for cars (see specific Q&A below).
2. 70mai parking surveillance cable (USB Type-C power supply connector). This model does not support 4G network connection, if you choose this model, the Dash Cam will not be able to instantly notify you when the recorded parking surveillance video is triggered, but only remind you to use your mobile phone to access the Dash Cam to view the parking surveillance video recordings in the device album when you start the vehicle next time.
4G parking surveillance cable supports to choose three grades for setting the voltage threshold of vehicle battery protection:
• Low - 11.8/23.6 V
• Medium - 12.0/24.0 V
• High - 12.2/24.4 V
Note: The 12V battery trolley supports three-grade setting of 11.8/12.0/12.2V, and the 24V battery trolley supports three-grade setting of 23.6/24.0/24.4V.
You can choose the right battery protection voltage threshold by gradually turning down the grade according to the actual situation such as the capacity and newness of your vehicle battery, to get the longest parking surveillance usage time under the premise of protecting the battery.
Usually for new batteries (less than 2 years old) and large capacity batteries that support start/stop, you can select 'Low - 11.8/23.6 V' to get a longer usage time for parking surveillance (in a typical vehicle with a new start/stop battery installed, collision detection, parking surveillance, and time-lapse photography are all on, and the usage time is measured to be more than 5 days).
If you are not quite sure of the minimum battery voltage required to start your vehicle's engine, just keep the default 'Medium - 12.0/24.0 V' grade. If the battery is seriously aged or the vehicle requires high starting voltage (for example, vehicles with engines with a high number of cylinders such as V6, L6, V8, V12, W12, etc.), battery voltage dropped to 11.8 V may cause failure to start the engine.
This is a result of incorrect wiring of the parking surveillance cable on the vehicle fuse box. This may lead to the failure of the Dash Cam to properly enter the parking surveillance mode after the vehicle flameout. For this situation, it is recommended to consult a 4S store or professional repair store to clarify the wiring method for the constant power supply after flameout of your vehicle.
Note: non-professional changes to the car circuit may lead to battery failure or even vehicle self-ignition and other serious consequences, please be sure to address the parking surveillance cable installation wiring with the help of professional institutions.
The causes of this problem may be the following,
1. The Dash Cam does not turn on the function of collision detection triggering parking surveillance video.
2. In the Dash Cam settings, the collision detection trigger parking surveillance sensitivity setting is too low, you can try to set a higher sensitivity (for the vehicle with good chassis damping effect, it is recommended to set a high sensitivity).
3. In hot weather, the vehicle cabin temperature is too high, the Dash Cam automatically shuts down to protect the device, it will not be able to respond to the collision event to trigger the parking surveillance video after shutdown. You can apply heat insulation film to the windshield to solve this problem, and try to avoid parking the vehicle in direct sunlight for a long time in the hot season.
4. Low vehicle battery power triggers the battery protection function of the parking surveillance cable, and the power is cut off by the Dash Cam. For this situation, please choose the appropriate battery protection voltage threshold grade according to the condition of your own vehicle battery. If the battery is used for a long time and has been aging, please replace the new battery in time. In addition, the frequent start of the vehicle in a short period of time (such as a number of consecutive short-distance driving) will lead to insufficient battery storage, resulting in the battery protection function of the parking surveillance cable triggered soon after the vehicle flameout; in this case, you can start the vehicle to drive/idle for more than 30 minutes to fully charge the battery, and then turn off the vehicle to continue to use the parking surveillance.
5. This is a result of incorrect wiring of the parking surveillance cable on the vehicle fuse box. This can cause the Dash Cam to be shut down when the power supply to the Dash Cam is cut off some time after the vehicle flameout. For this situation, it is recommended to consult a 4S store or professional repair store to clarify the wiring method for the constant power supply after flameout of your vehicle. (Note: non-professional changes to the car circuit may lead to battery failure or even vehicle self-ignition and other serious consequences, please be sure to address the parking surveillance cable installation wiring with the help of professional institutions.)6. Please note that even if the Dash Cam is set up with the highest collision detection sensitivity, for some types of collisions, such as courier drivers riding electric bikes passing by, the cargo box rubs against the parked vehicle at low speed, it is possible that the parking surveillance video will not be triggered. Gravitational acceleration sensors are more sensitive to vibrations caused by heavy objects; if a passing pedestrian or non-motorized vehicle causes damage to a parked vehicle, there is a probability that a relatively light action will not trigger the parking surveillance recording. (Note: Actual testing of a certain SUV model with comfort as a selling point parked on a concrete-hardened surface, with the highest collision detection sensitivity setting, someone pressed a cigarette butt hard on the tire triggered the parking surveillance video.)
Motion detection supports three sensitivity settings of high/medium/low.The difference between each sensitivity grade is in the collision recognition judgment, the higher the sensitivity setting, the lower the threshold value for determining collision.
Either of the following methods can be taken to solve the problem,
1. Reduce the sensitivity setting for collision detection to trigger parking surveillance.
2. In the collision response policy of parking surveillance, set it to delay 5 minutes before responding.
If you have turned on the motion detection function in the Dash Cam settings (Note: The Dash Cam will detect the parking surveillance cable and will recommend turning on this function by default in the beginner's guide step). When the vehicle shuts down and enters the parking surveillance, the Dash Cam will continue to shoot, and the built-in AI algorithm will continue to analyze the scene in the field of view.
If the algorithm determines that the threat level to the vehicle from a moving object in the scene has reached a level that requires recording, the Dash Cam will be instructed to begin recording a 30-second parking surveillance video to be stored in the built-in parking surveillance folder in the Dash Cam. In this type of scenario, usually an object is moving continuously in close range in the field of view of the Dash Cam.
Note: The initial motion detection algorithm can only recognize human-shaped objects, and subsequent upgrades will add recognition of all types of vehicles (including non-motorized vehicles).
Motion detection supports three sensitivity settings of high/medium/low.The difference between sensitivity grades lies in the recognition judgment of 'suspicious scene'. The higher the sensitivity setting, the more lenient the AI algorithm is in screening the appearance of suspicious objects and the lower the requirement for the duration of objects in the field of view.
Note: For the image recognition AI algorithm, the judgment of suspicious scene is a comprehensive logic derived from training. Therefore, the algorithm parameters such as the duration of suspicious objects staying in the field of view are not fixed values and therefore cannot be set by the user.
This is because the scene in the Dash Cam's field of view is not determined as a sufficient threatening scene to require video recording by the AI imaging algorithm. The specific reasons could be,
- Cause 1: The duration of time the person remains in the field of view of the Dash Cam is too short (under the default sensitivity setting in motion detection, it needs to remain in the field of view for more than 20 seconds to trigger the parking surveillance video).
- Cause 2: Human imaging does not meet the requirements of AI algorithm for human recognition. Main scenario:• The person is obscured, which affects the detection effect of the imaging algorithm. For example, when the person is too close to the vehicle and only the part above the abdomen appears in the field of view of the Dash Cam, it is easy to be ignored by the algorithm and lead to missing recognition. (Note: 70mai is continuously improving the recognition capability of AI imaging algorithm, and will subsequently strengthen the recognition of obscured human shapes and increase the recognition of various types of vehicles.)• The person is too far away from the Dash Cam (more than five meters), and the image of the person is too small, which will be judged as low threat and thus will not trigger the parking surveillance video.• Environmental factors, when shooting outward from inside the car, the field of view light situation is complicated, there are occlusions and reflections, such as too dark light or windshield reflections, which can interfere with the recognition algorithm.
- Judgment of the method of motion detection function (depending on the specific vehicle model, installation angle, the actual performance parameters will vary: the difference range in distance is no more than one meter, and the difference range in retention time is no more than 5 seconds),• High sensitivity: about 2-3 meters from the front of the car, stay for about 8 seconds, will trigger the motion detection• Medium sensitivity: about 2-3 meters from the front of the car, stay for about 10 seconds, will trigger the motion detection• Low sensitivity: about 2-3 meters from the front of the car, stay for about 17 seconds, will trigger the motion detection
No, it will not. Unlike the frame comparison principle based motion detection that is commonly used in the industry, the built-in imaging algorithm of this Dash Cam model will make intelligent judgments about the scene in the field of view, and the recording of parking surveillance video will only be truly triggered if the threat level of the scene is large enough as determined by the algorithm; this can greatly reduce the number of useless activity scenes triggering the recording of parking surveillance video, making the motion detection function truly practical in densely populated areas.
For example, in general, scenes with vehicles/people coming and going are not judged as threatening by the algorithm, but only when specific suspicious objects stay in view long enough and close enough to the vehicle. The algorithm determines the threat level of the scene intelligently, not according to a fixed preset length of stay or distance.
In addition, if the same moving object stays in the field of view for a long time, at most two consecutive parking surveillance video recording events will be triggered, and the Dash Cam will then actively ignore the object to avoid repeated recording of parking surveillance video with very low or no value.
The possible reasons are as follows,
1. Low vehicle battery power triggers the battery protection function of the parking surveillance cable, and the power is cut off by the Dash Cam. For this situation, you can start the vehicle to drive / idle for more than thirty to fully charge the battery, and then turn off the engine to continue to use time-lapse photography; if the battery is aging, please replace the new battery in a timely manner. (Note: For vehicles installed with start/stop battery, the fully charged new battery can support this model of Dash Cam to record about one week of time-lapse photography video.)
2. The Dash Cam automatically shuts down to protect the device due to high temperature. For this situation, you can apply heat insulation film to the car glass and try to avoid parking the vehicle in direct sunlight for a long time in the hot season.
3. The Dash Cam triggers the recording of parking surveillance video, or the user controls the Dash Cam to record video remotely via 4G, which will cause interruption of time-lapse photography, once the recording is completed, time-lapse photography will continue and stored as a new clip. (4G will be supported in October 2023.)
If you equip the Dash Cam with 4G parking and parking surveillance cable, and the device is properly networked, when the vehicle is shut down, you can enter the 'Remote Settings' page on the 'Remote Surveillance' page of the mobile APP to switch the on/off status of the collision detection parking surveillance/time-lapse photography functions.
Note: You can click the 'Effective immediately' button to switch the on/off status of these functions immediately; you can also exit the 'Remote Setting' page directly after switching on/off, and then when your mobile phone exits the 'Remote surveillance' page for 5 minutes, the on/off status of these functions will be switched automatically according to your settings.
After installing the 4G parking surveillance cable, please tap the RESET button on the round disc-shaped 4G module to restart the Dash Cam and 4G module.Then you can judge whether the 4G network of the Dash Cam is normal according to the indicator status of the 4G module,
- The green constant light state of the 4G module indicates that the 4G network is normal.
- If the 4G module is rejected by the operator, the indicator light of the 4G module will be blinking red.Possible reasons are:
• No 4G signal coverage at the location;
• The operator does not allow the current 4G data traffic card to be used in the IoT device;• the operator's service is down;
• the 4G data traffic card used has been bound to the device specified by the operator and is rejected to reside in the current device;
• The used 4G data traffic card's traffic package is exhausted or expired;
• The 4G data traffic card used is physically damaged or has poor contact with the device card slot.
- If the 4G module can normally reside in the operator's mobile network, but cannot properly connect to the cloud service of 70mai, then the 4G module's indicator should be blinking green.Possible reasons are,
• Abnormal network blockage;• 70mai server is down.
Please follow the steps below to troubleshoot,
1. First, confirm the 4G module indicator status. If it is blinking green, go to the next step; if it is blinking red, confirm the following two items to see if they are normal,• Is there 4G signal coverage at the location? There is no 4G signal coverage in some underground garages.• Is the data traffic card used intact? Are the contacts dirty or corroded? Is the SIM card inserted correctly into the SIM card slot of the 4G module? (Note: SIM card slot is a sophisticated device, please pay attention to the installation direction of the SIM card and operate carefully; violent insertion of the card will lead to damage to the 4G module!)
If the above two items are OK, go to the next step.
2. Confirm the following issues,
- Please contact the operator to consult the identity verification, data traffic package, device-card binding rules and other related matters. After top-up or unbanning the 4G Data traffic SIM card, if you still encounter the networking problem, you can tap the RESET button on the round disc-shaped 4G module to restart the Dash Cam and 4G module and try again.
If all the above are checked and normal, but you still cannot get online, then please follow these steps,
1. Consult the operator for the required and appropriate APN configuration for the SIM card you are using;
2. Start the vehicle and make sure that the 4G network signal coverage is normal at the location of the vehicle and that the phone networking is normal;
3. Take the phone close to the Dash Cam, click the Dash Cam function card on the APP home page, open the 'Device Management' page in the upper right corner, click the '4G Module Management' entry to open the 4G module management page, click 'APN Manual Configuration', follow the page guide to fill in the APN configuration provided by the operator and write it to the Dash Cam to take effect.
APN is a required parameter for 4G devices to access the network. 70mai's database contains APN data of most carriers around the world, you need to follow the APN configuration guide to perform the 'APN auto-configuration' process after binding the 4G module, and write the APN parameters corresponding to the SIM card you are using into the Dash Cam to take effect, to ensure the normal networking of the Dash Cam.
If the operator of the 4G data traffic card you choose is rather unusual, or the APN parameters have been updated and thus are not in the database of 70mai, your Dash Cam will not be able to network properly. Please proceed as follows,
1. Consult the operator for the required and appropriate APN configuration for the SIM card you are using;
2. Start the vehicle and make sure that the 4G network signal coverage is normal at the location of the vehicle and that the phone networking is normal;
The 4G parking surveillance cable provided with this model of Dash Cam has been professionally assessed for 4G network compatibility in the local target market.
It is recommended to choose a 4G data traffic SIM card from a local mainstream carrier and consult the Dash Cam dealer to confirm availability.
Please always buy the 4G parking surveillance cable locally, do not use it across the region ( overseas); for example, if you buy the 4G parking surveillance cable in Southeast Asia, please use it locally, if you take it to North America, it will probably encounter the network failure problem.
The question of 4G module for cross-country use needs to be viewed in different aspects,
1. This 4G module is available in different channel versions, the first version for sale is the international version, supporting Europe, Southeast Asia and so on.; subsequent versions supporting North America and related regions will be launched afterwards. Different channel versions of 4G modules work with different 4G network standards and cannot be mixed.
2. Under the premise that the 4G module standard is compatible with the local 4G network, the actual use of 4G network connection depends on the region on which the Dash Cam is bound to the 70mai APP. 70mai overseas servers are divided by regions, in which region the 4G module is added and bound to the server, in actual use it will also communicate with the server of the corresponding region. For example, if a 4G module is bound in Southeast Asia, its Dash Cam is bound to the user account on the international zone server; if it is taken to Eastern Europe (belonging to the Russian zone server) for use, it may encounter network delays although it works because the server has crossed the zone and experienced too many gateways in between.However, if the 4G module always stays in the region where the bound server is located, this problem will not be encountered.
3. Whether the SIM card and package used in this 4G module can roam across countries is not determined by 70mai, which needs to consult the operator. If roaming is supported, it can be used according to the rules described in the previous two sections.
The SIM card slot provided with the 4G module of this model of Dash Cam does not support hot-swapping, if you need to install/replace the 4G data traffic SIM card, please tap the RESET button on the round disc-shaped 4G module after the operation is completed, to reboot the Dash Cam and 4G module before use.

Possible reasons are,
1. Parking surveillance videos are frequently mis-triggered, and a lot of parking surveillance video uploads consume a large amount of data traffic. The following tactics can be adopted to avoid wasting data traffic for this situation:
• Set collision-triggered parking surveillance only 5 minutes after flameout in the 'Dash Cam Settings' on the phone, to avoid accidentally triggering the recording and uploading of parking surveillance videos by closing the door heavily when getting out of the car.
• Select the appropriate sensitivity of collision-triggered parking surveillance according to the damping level of the vehicle suspension, to avoid frequently trigger and upload of parking surveillance video due to the frequent passage of heavy vehicles nearby. (Note: If your vehicle is parked near the railroad or heavy machinery, the lowest collision sensitivity may not be able to avoid frequent collision-triggered parking surveillance video, in this case it is recommended to turn off collision-triggered parking surveillance and use motion detection triggered parking surveillance or time-lapse photography for parking security).
• If motion detection triggers parking surveillance frequently and you can tell from the image of the parking surveillance alarm message that the scene is not threatening, for example, if you park in a location where people frequently walk around or chat in front of the car, you can go to the 'Remote Surveillance - Remote Control' page and turn off the motion detection function (it can be turned on remotely in this page again).
• If you think the parking surveillance (whether collision-triggered or motion-triggered) video is still valuable, but do not want it to consume data traffic, you can turn off the 'Allow uploading parking surveillance video' in 'Alarm center' on your phone. Once it is turned off, the parking alarm messages will still be pushed to your phone, but the Dash Cam will not upload the parking video to your phone, it will just be stored in the internal storage of the Dash Cam.
2. High frequency use of the remote surveillance function may also cause excessive data traffic consumption. In case you need to use the remote surveillance function frequently, please pay attention to the data traffic package and buy the data traffic top-up package timely.The data traffic consumption of each function of 4G remote surveillance is as follows,
• Remote viewing of real-time images: data traffic consumption rate of continuous viewing is about 13~15 MB/min.
• Upload a parking surveillance video: the resolution of the pre/post-recorded video is 480P and 1080P respectively, duration 30 seconds, and the uploading data traffic consumption rate ranges from 21 to 23 MB ( depending on the details complexity of the scene, the more complex the details, the larger the video file size).
• Upload a remotely initiated video recording: 480P resolution video with up to 30 seconds of duration (can be terminated early if not recorded for 30 seconds); if recorded full 30 seconds, uploading consumes the same data traffic as parking surveillance video.
• Upload a photo initiated remotely: the photo is uploaded in the resolution set by the Dash Cam, and the upload consumes data traffic ranging from 0.3 to 1 MB.
Possible reasons are,
1. There is no 4G network signal coverage at the parking location.
2. There is no GPS/Beidou satellite positioning signal at the parking location.There is no solution to this problem, as the positioning of 'parking location' requires the 4G network signal/satellite positioning signal coverage of the parking location.
If the vehicle is parked in an underground garage, parking building or other indoor parking garage, where there is no 4G network signal/satellite positioning signal coverage, then the Dash Cam will not be able to report the parking location normally. The 'parking position' displayed on the phone is the last position reported by the Dash Cam during the trip before parking (Note: When the car is started, report is made about once every 3 minutes).
The reasons are as follows,
1. In case the Dash Cam is on: there are many functions such as vehicle positioning tracking and online driving route using 4G network, which occupies 4G network transmission capacity. Live remote surveillance is a business with high requirements for 4G network communication status, if it is turned on, it will adversely affect the experience of using the many functions mentioned above.
2. Under the vehicle started-driving situation, recording video by the Dash Cam is the highest priority function demand, at this time, if there is remote operation of the Dash Cam, it may interfere with the normal recording: in this case, the Dash Cam hardware data processing capacity is insufficient under the highest load.
Note: This type of Dash Cam can use the remote surveillance function after vehicle flameout, even if the parking surveillance and time-lapse photography are not turned on, the Dash Cam device can be woken up remotely to use the remote surveillance function.
The data traffic consumption of each function for remote surveillance of this Dash Cam model is as follows,
- Remote viewing of real-time images: data traffic consumption rate of continuous viewing is about 13~15 MB/min.
- Upload a parking surveillance video: the resolution of the front/rear-recorded video is 480P and 1080P respectively, duration 30 seconds, and the uploading data traffic consumption rate ranges from 21 to 23 MB ( depending on the details complexity of the scene, the more complex the details, the larger the video file size).
- Upload a remotely initiated video recording: 480P resolution video with up to 30 seconds of duration (can be terminated early if not recorded for 30 seconds); if recorded full 30 seconds, uploading consumes the same data traffic as parking surveillance video.
- Upload a photo initiated remotely: the photo is uploaded in the resolution set by the Dash Cam, and the upload consumes data traffic ranging from 0.3 to 1 MB.
The data traffic consumption of each function for remote surveillance of this Dash Cam model is as follows,

- Upload a photo initiated remotely: the photo is uploaded in the resolution set by the Dash Cam, and the upload consumes data traffic ranging from 0.3 to 1 MB.
To ensure the transmission efficiency, the live remote surveillance images are highly compressed, hence they are not the original resolution recorded by the Dash Cam and are only for you to observe the real-time situation around the vehicle.
If you need the original resolution image, you can tap the 'Take photo' button on the remote surveillance page to take a photo in original resolution, or tap the 'Record' button to record a video of 30 seconds in length (a copy of the original resolution is stored in the 'Parking Surveillance' directory of the Dash Cam device album, and a copy of the 480P resolution will be pushed to your mobile app by default).
This is because the vehicle enters the tunnel and other locations/sections not covered by 4G network signal/satellite positioning signal. The phone cannot solve this problem, it can only wait for the vehicle to drive to the location covered by 4G network signal and satellite positioning signal.
(Note: If the Dash Cam is disconnected for more than 10 minutes, the system will consider that the current trip is over and the vehicle has been shut down and parked; when the Dash Cam subsequently reports the location again, the system will treat it as a new trip.)
When the vehicle is shut down, the satellite positioning module of the Dash Cam will be shut down to save power, so it cannot continue positioning.
(Note: When the vehicle is off, the Dash Cam will report the parking position. If the user is worried about the vehicle being moved when the engine is off, for example, being towed away. Collision detection can be enabled to trigger the parking surveillance function, so that when the vehicle is moved, the parking surveillance video event will be triggered and an alarm message will be pushed to your phone immediately.)
The following events will cause the Dash Cam to push an alarm message to the user's mobile app:
1. Automatic shutdown due to high temperature of the Dash Cam;
2. Low battery power will trigger the battery protection mechanism to lead the Dash Cam to shut down and exit the parking surveillance mode;
3. Electronic fence alarm triggered when the vehicle drives out of the electronic fence;
4. When collision detection is enabled in parking surveillance mode, once the Dash Cam detects collision, a message notification will be pushed when the recording of parking surveillance video is triggered and after the video is uploaded;
5. When the user controls the Dash Cam to record remote surveillance video on the live remote surveillance page, a message notification will be pushed after the video is uploaded;
6. When the user controls the Dash Cam to take photos on the live remote surveillance page, a message notification will be pushed after the photos are uploaded.
Possible reasons are,
1. The 4G network of Dash Cam device is not good. Make sure the 4G network connection function of the Dash Cam device is normal (4G module has been installed and bound/ data traffic card passed the identity verification and the package is normal and the balance is not zero), and make sure the 4G network signal coverage of where the Dash Cam is located is normal, to guarantee that the Dash Cam can push the message notification normally through the 4G network.
2. The phone system does not give the APP message notification permission. The message notification permission of the APP needs to be turned on in the mobile system (in fact, regardless of whether the APP is authorized to push messages from the mobile system, the alarm messages can be seen in the alarm center; however, in order to ensure the timeliness of the message push, this permission needs to be turned on so that the alarm messages can be pushed through the push notification list of the mobile system in the first place).
3. The parking surveillance cable triggers the low battery protection mechanism, causing the Dash Cam to shut down. Start the vehicle driving or idling for more than half an hour until the vehicle battery is fully charged, then it can continue to support the Dash Cam to enter the parking surveillance / time-lapse photography working state in the flameout state, so as to push the message to the phone normally when the alarm message trigger conditions are met.
4. The reason why you can't receive the message push when the vehicle is off is probably because either the collision trigger or the motion detection trigger parking surveillance function is not turned on; you need to turn on at least one to enable Dash Cam to push the alarm message notification related to the parking surveillance recording event when the vehicle is off (Note: You can enter the 'Remote Surveillance-Remote Settings' page to remotely turn on/off the parking surveillance/time-lapse photography function).
5. 4G module is not installed/configured. You need to install the 4G parking surveillance cable for the Dash Cam, insert a valid data traffic card, bind the 4G module to the Dash Cam and complete the APN configuration according to the guide before you can receive the message notifications from the Dash Cam normally.
This is because of the poor 4G network coverage in the location where the Dash Cam is located. Only if the 4G network coverage of the vehicle parking location is good, the Dash Cam can upload the parking surveillance video quickly (Note: for the 4G network of Cat.1 used by IoT, there will be poor coverage in the neighborhoods where residents exclude the base station construction, urban and rural areas, remote areas, mountainous areas, depopulated zone and other locations).
This is the logic designed to prevent users from closing the car door heavily after getting into the car, which leads to the false alarm of the parking surveillance recording event.
Dash Cam equipped with 4G networking capability will immediately push a 'suspected collision' alarm message when a collision is detected in the parking surveillance status and a parking surveillance video is initiated. If the vehicle starts within 1 minute, the Dash Cam will send a 'Cancel suspected collision' message; if the vehicle does not start within 1 minute, the Dash Cam will confirm the collision event and push a 'Parking surveillance video has been uploaded' message after the video recording and uploading is completed.
Cloud Album is for backup key video evidence, currently it only supports automatic uploading of parking surveillance videos (including those triggered and recorded by collision detection and motion detection) by the Dash Cam, as well as the user-initiated recorded videos in remote surveillance scenarios.
This is because the video copies uploaded to the Cloud Album are compressed (for the consideration of saving data traffic and controlling the upload time).
For videos uploaded to the Cloud Album by this Dash Cam, the front recording resolution is 480P, i.e., 1280 x 720 (16:9 screen ratio); the rear recording resolution is 1080P, i.e., 1920 x 1080 (16:9 screen ratio). If you need the video in original resolution, connect the Dash Cam directly with your phone quickly and look in the 'Parking Monitor' subdirectory of the album.

- The cable takes electricity from the vehicle's battery to maintain a constant power supply to the Dash Cam when the vehicle is shut down, supporting the normal operation of parking surveillance, remote surveillance and other functions;
• No 4G signal coverage at the location;
• The operator does not allow the current 4G data traffic card to be used in the IoT device;• the operator's service is down;
• the 4G data traffic card used has been bound to the device specified by the operator and is rejected to reside in the current device;
• The used 4G data traffic card's traffic package is exhausted or expired;
If all the above are checked and normal, but you still cannot get online, then please follow these steps,
1. Consult the operator for the required and appropriate APN configuration for the SIM card you are using;
2. Start the vehicle and make sure that the 4G network signal coverage is normal at the location of the vehicle and that the phone networking is normal;
Please proceed as follows,
1. Consult the operator for the required and appropriate APN configuration for the SIM card you are using;
2. Start the vehicle and make sure that the 4G network signal coverage is normal at the location of the vehicle and that the phone networking is normal;

1. Automatic shutdown due to high temperature of the Dash Cam;
2. Low battery power will trigger the battery protection mechanism to lead the Dash Cam to shut down and exit the parking surveillance mode;
3. Electronic fence alarm triggered when the vehicle drives out of the electronic fence;
4. When collision detection is enabled in parking surveillance mode, once the Dash Cam detects collision, a message notification will be pushed when the recording of parking surveillance video is triggered and after the video is uploaded;
5. When the user controls the Dash Cam to record remote surveillance video on the live remote surveillance page, a message notification will be pushed after the video is uploaded;
